Leeds GovJam is run by volunteers, and nobody makes a profit from it. Sponsors and supporters help us keep costs down, open up new possibilities, and provide extra treats and prizes to jam participants.
Leeds GovJam 2019
GovJam would not be possible without the support of our amazing sponsors, who have very kindly helped us with venue and catering costs so our attendees get the best possible experience of jamming in the comfort of our long-term venue, ODI Leeds at Munro House. Our sponsors have also generously sponsored tickets for first time jammers who may not otherwise have been able to attend!
Leeds City Council scooped digital council of the year at the 2019 Digital Leaders 100 awards for its work to improve digital tools, technology and inclusion in the city. The annual awards celebrate the teams and individuals who are working hard behind the scenes to secure the UK’s digital transformation.
There are a number of programmes ongoing across the city that are using digital tools and technology to improve the outcomes for everyone. Service Design is playing a key role in the development of these and Stephen Blackburn, (Data and Innovation Manager, Digital Information Service) was keen for Leeds City Council to support this years’ GovJam event:
‘GovJam is an excellent introduction to the world of Service Design thinking and tools. We are proud to be a headline sponsor for the event and encourage anyone with an interest in developing user-centred services to attend and learn with like-minded people.’
‘dxw digital are proud to be sponsoring Global GovJam 2019 in Leeds, which is a great introduction to Service Design thinking and tools.’ (Wendy Coello, Director Marketing and Comms)

We believe that the greatest campaigns and the optimum service design can only be created through idea hacks and with co-creation.
